Financial Controller – Plant

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Financial Controller to join our dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for driving the financial performance of the plant, providing accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decisions that impact profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, plant P&L, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes in line with internal and Group policies.
• Manage cost accounting for materials, labor, overheads, inventory, WIP, and scrap.
• Analyze financial results and deliver actionable recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and optimize costs.
• Participate in budgeting, planning, KPI monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Develop financial analyses and business cases for CAPEX projects.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external advisors.
• Act as the primary financial business partner for plant management, Shared Services, and Group Finance.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Big 4, controlling, or a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of Serbian accounting and tax regulations is a plus.
• Strong grasp of cost structures, inventory valuation, and WIP management.
• Proven analytical ability to link financial data with operational realities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• SAP FI/CO (or comparable ERP system) – advanced knowledge.
