Fintech Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are a leading provider of solutions for online gaming operators and international payment services, seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our fintech and payments team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across payment processing, PSPs, and payment instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements related to payments, acquiring, and financial services.
• Liaise with banking partners, payment schemes, and regulatory bodies on compliance-related matters.
• Review and assess compliance risks related to payment methods, payment flows, and merchant onboarding.
• Support the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of business partners, merchants, and payment providers.
• Stay up to date with evolving regulations (AML/CFT, PCI‑DSS, PSD2, card scheme rules) and assess their impact on the business.
• Prepare compliance reports, respond to regulatory inquiries, and support audits.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Legal, Risk, Operations, and Product teams.
• Contribute to training and awareness programs across the organization.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of experience in compliance roles within fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Proven experience working with banks and international regulators on acquiring, payment processing, PSPs, and payment instruments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, PCI‑DSS, card‑scheme and cross‑border payment regulations.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Highly ambitious, proactive, and motivated to grow into a team‑leadership role.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad for conferences and industry exhibitions.
