Flow Simulation Engineer (Witness software)

About the role

We are seeking a Flow Simulation Engineer to support our customers by creating detailed models of industrial plants using Witness simulation software. The role focuses on optimizing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and evaluating investment options such as robots and AGVs.

Key responsibilities

• Model industrial plants with Witness simulation software.
• Optimize production processes and propose better utilization of operators and equipment.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in existing workflows.
• Simulate man‑vs‑machine scenarios to assess performance.
• Increase overall production efficiency.
• Analyze feasibility and efficiency of potential investments (robots, AGVs, new lines).
• Define the optimal number of robots/AGVs required for best performance.
• Measure the impact of layout changes on production.

Required profile

• Engineer with experience in flow simulation for industrial environments.
• Ability to analyze process data and propose optimization solutions.
• Familiarity with evaluating automation investments such as robots and AGVs.

Required skills

• Witness simulation software
