Fraud Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Fraud Specialist to join our Antifraud Team. You will protect the business from fraud and financial risks by monitoring user activity, investigating suspicious behavior, and identifying new fraud patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Use advanced fraud detection tools to monitor user activity and identify suspicious behavior in real time.
• Investigate fraudulent activity by analyzing patterns, trends, anomalies, and connections.
• Stay up to date with the latest fraud techniques, emerging threats, and evolving risk patterns.
• Monitor and investigate bonus abuse across products and take action based on emerging trends.
• Simulate and describe algorithms and scenarios for detecting risky operations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Marketing, Finance and other teams to share insights and implement solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on fraud prevention practices.
• Lead investigations and coordinate response efforts for suspected fraud or security breaches.
• Prepare and present reports on fraud and risk metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
• Previous experience in economics, analytics, statistics or a similar analytical role.
• Native‑level Russian and English (B1+).
• Willingness to work shifts (09:00‑17:00 or 17:00‑01:00 GMT+3), including weekends when required.
• Proactive, self‑motivated problem‑solver with strong communication skills.

• Advanced user of Excel.
• Advanced user of Google Sheets.
