Frontend Engineer – Angular & Kendo UI

About the role

We are looking for a senior Frontend Engineer to join a leading reinsurance and risk‑management company. You will build and maintain high‑quality web applications using Angular and Kendo UI, turning Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive, and reusable user interfaces.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable UI components and component libraries following established design systems.
• Implement modern, accessible user interfaces using SCSS, design tokens, semantic HTML, and accessibility best practices.
• Work with Kendo UI for Angular to create consistent and reusable frontend components.
• Write well‑designed, testable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain automated tests with Jasmine/Karma and support the transition to Vitest.
• Implement end‑to‑end tests using Playwright to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to frontend standards, and improve UI architecture.
• Document frontend standards, component usage, and implementation guidelines.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams, adhering to Agile principles for efficient delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience as a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in modern web applications.
• Deep knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Kendo UI for Angular, especially building reusable UI components.
• Proven ability to implement Figma designs pixel‑perfectly with strong visual attention.
• Strong knowledge of SCSS, design tokens, semantic HTML, and web accessibility principles.
• Experience creating and maintaining reusable UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with state‑management solutions, particularly NGRX.
• Solid experience with frontend testing using Jasmine/Karma and exposure to Vitest.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
• Proficiency with npm, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for frontend delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
• Very good English communication skills.
