Galvanizer – Manufacturing & Production

About the role

Join MTU Maintenance Serbia as a Galvanizer, supporting the production of aerospace propulsion components. You will work in a regulated environment, handling chemical processes, coating applications, and related quality tasks to ensure high‑quality, safe, and environmentally compliant parts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform etching, chrome plating, browning, and electro‑plating of components according to technical specifications.
• Execute electrolytic and chemical removal of thermal coatings and apply silver, chromium, and nickel layers.
• Handle hazardous substances safely, following environmental, health, and safety norms.
• Support wastewater management, basic cleaning, maintenance, and quality assurance activities.
• Prepare, process, and post‑process engine components, including simple heat‑treatment tasks.
• Set up equipment, measure parts with standard process tools, and run automated software processes.
• Document work, perform visual inspections, and conduct simple functional tests.
• Troubleshoot equipment, restart machines, and assist with commissioning of new tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in galvanization and wastewater‑treatment processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel and preferably SAP.
• Ability to work shift schedules and follow strict procedural instructions.
• Strong teamwork orientation, high reliability, and independent execution of tasks.
• Technical English proficiency for reading and communication.
