Global Manager – Core IT Platform Services

About the role

Lead the lifecycle, governance and continuous improvement of gategroup’s enterprise applications and business platforms outside the SACS & Operations Suite. Ensure platforms are standardized, secure, reliable and aligned with the company’s IT strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of ERP, HRIS, Finance, Procurement, Legal and related integration platforms, including upgrades, patches and end‑of‑life planning.
• Drive platform harmonisation, rationalisation and global adoption of standard templates and configurations.
• Define and enforce platform policies, release processes and change governance while ensuring cybersecurity and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with Business Engagement, Architecture, Infrastructure and Service Reliability teams to deliver scalable solutions and meet SLA/OLA targets.
• Oversee vendor and system‑integrator performance, contract compliance and support procurement negotiations.

Required profile

• 10+ years in IT, enterprise applications or platform management, with at least 7 years leading global ERP/HRIS/Finance/Procurement platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering platform standardisation, simplification and rationalisation in large multinational matrix organisations.
• Strong vendor and system‑integrator management experience.
• Strategic, data‑driven decision‑making and people‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in enterprise platforms such as SAP, D365, Workday and related integration middleware.
• Solid understanding of platform lifecycle management, cloud/hybrid environments and IT service management.
• Knowledge of security, identity and access management, and audit requirements.
