Graduate Backend Developer – Insurance

About the role

Join SAP Fioneer’s Graduate Program L.I.F.T and work on real‑life product development for insurance companies. You will gain hands‑on experience in backend development while learning ABAP and modern development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend applications for insurance clients, focusing on speed, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with mentors and colleagues on actual projects, participating in client interactions and product development.
• Take part in structured learning sessions and onboarding activities to build a solid foundation in the industry.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Physics, Mathematics or related fields.
• Hands‑on project experience with Java or other object‑oriented languages.
• Analytical mindset, strong logical reasoning and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Java (or other OOP languages)
• ABAP (learning provided)
• IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, Git, CI/CD workflows
