Group Logistics System & Process Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP logistics professional to lead the design, implementation, and standardisation of SAP‑based logistics solutions across multiple plants. You will act as the central expert for digital logistics projects, ensuring seamless integration from concept through rollout and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP and logistics‑systems specialist for projects covering transport management, supplier collaboration, shop‑floor data capture, inventory optimisation, and master‑data governance.
• Translate business requirements into SAP specifications and coordinate implementation with internal DIG&IT teams and external partners.
• Support evaluation and rollout of planning and scheduling tools (S&OP, MPS, APS, finite scheduling).
• Deliver structured training, super‑user coaching, and on‑site support to strengthen SAP user capabilities.
• Standardise SAP logistics operations, reduce local process variations, and monitor scanning systems and data quality.
• Lead or support TMS and returnable‑packaging management implementations.
• Oversee SAP MRP setup, master‑data readiness, planning‑parameter quality, and new‑plant launches.
• Drive SAP customisations, upgrades, periodic plant reviews, audits and corrective actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SAP logistics, operational digitalisation, rollout and support, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of automotive supply‑chain processes, OEM call‑off logic, JIT/JIS, inter‑company flows and Tier‑1 operations.
• Ability to manage multiple digital projects and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel to plant locations.
