Hospital Specialist – Endocrinology and Metabolic Health

About the role

We are seeking a highly talented Hospital Specialist to drive the commercial success of an innovative endocrinology portfolio within an assigned European country or territory. This role requires a deep understanding of hospital and specialist care environments, including patient pathways, treatment guidelines, and key decision‑making networks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory, building high‑value interactions with endocrinologists, diabetologists, specialist nurses, pharmacists and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically robust, compliant and differentiated customer engagements through face‑to‑face and virtual channels.
• Develop and execute territory business plans within budgets and timelines to meet regional and national objectives.
• Utilise customer insights, market data and analytics to optimise account prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Maintain expertise in endocrinology, clinical data, treatment pathways and product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Use CRM and digital engagement tools to support territory planning, account management and hybrid customer interactions.
• Present approved clinical and product information to healthcare professionals in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders and clinical champions within endocrinology and metabolic medicine.

Required profile

• Proven success launching and promoting complex products in hospital or specialist environments.
• Experience in endocrinology, diabetes, obesity or metabolic health therapy areas is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of hospital decision‑making processes, treatment pathways and account management principles.
• Excellent communication, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, accountable and results‑oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent experience; valid driving licence and ability to travel extensively.
