IMS Specialist I

About the role

The IMS Specialist I will manage investigator payments for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with sponsor and organizational requirements. This role collaborates with clinical operations, finance, and project teams to support global study funding.

Key responsibilities

• Administer payments to investigators and institutions using CTMS tools such as IMPACT, Medidata, and Clinpay.
• Review Clinical Trial Agreements and amendments to verify payment terms and schedule.
• Coordinate with accounts payable/receivable, project management, and site contracts to secure advance funding and process site payments.
• Maintain and reconcile Excel grant trackers and generate project reports for sponsor and statutory reporting.
• Assist the Investigator Payments Manager with audits and support sponsor invoicing activities.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with CTMS tools (IMPACT, Medidata, Clinpay) and Oracle (preferred).
