Inside Sales Representative III

About the role

Avnet Abacus is seeking an Inside Sales Representative III to combine inside sales, customer service and technical knowledge to sell products, services and solutions to new and existing customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Sell to customers by phone or email, negotiate and generate sales while maximizing gross profitability.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, maintain master data, and prepare quotations.
• Review and process purchase orders in line with SOX compliance and manage revenue and gross margin for assigned accounts.
• Perform proactive backlog management, coordinate technical questions with internal teams, and support quotation preparation.
• Interact with internal support groups (procurement, warehouse, credit, quality) and handle customer concerns, claims and sample requests.
• Occasionally visit customers with FAE/AM and participate in promotional activities and trainings.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to apply selling techniques over the phone.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with problem‑solving abilities.
• Good English (oral and written) and ability to work in an international team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits or training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP SD (preferred) and ERP/order‑management systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Familiarity with QuoteFX, SupplierWin, PowerPoint and WebEx.
