International Finance Operations Specialist – German

About the role

As an International Finance Operations Specialist you will own day‑to‑day finance processes for Germany and Austria while coordinating finance requirements across our global locations, including Serbia, France and Vietnam. Based in Serbia, you will work within the Operations Team and also support finance activities for the Serbian entity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve invoices, allocate costs, and manage employee and supplier contracts for Germany and Austria.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including accrual preparation, financial statement review and reporting.
• Act as the primary finance contact for external accounting partners and coordinate Group Accounting requirements across all international entities.
• Assist with consolidation activities such as monthly reporting, inter‑company reconciliations, IFRS 16 implementation and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Contribute to the Group Internal Control System and ensure consistent finance processes across entities.
• Support Serbian finance operations – invoicing, payments, audits, ESG reporting and month‑end closing.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis inputs for international locations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling or audit, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, AR/AP, accruals and month‑end processes.
• Experience coordinating finance activities across multiple stakeholders and locations.
• Familiarity with group reporting or consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet) – certifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are a plus.
• Exposure to transfer‑pricing documentation and inter‑company transactions.
• Understanding of Serbian payroll processes is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Working knowledge of LucaNet or similar financial reporting systems.
