International Move Coordinator

About the role

The International Move Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end logistics of import and export shipments, focusing on US‑government‑impelled cargo. Working remotely, you will collaborate with global agents, freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth, compliant moves for personal and commercial shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, route and book freight for import/export, especially USG‑impelled cargo.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, contracts, tenders and tariffs.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers and port agents as needed.
• Process documentation, track shipment schedules and select NVOCCs, port agents and customs brokers.
• Handle export clearance of personally owned vehicles (POVs) from the United States, working directly with US Customs & Border Protection.
• Assist with rate filings, quote one‑time‑only (OTO) rates and support management on various projects.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication, both oral and written.
• Experience with GSA contracts or similar government‑related logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with prior transportation or logistics experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work US business hours remotely and meet daily/weekly/monthly targets.
