Junior Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its Finance Department in Serbia. You will support daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations, and assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Post journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare reconciliations and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with local tax requirements and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual external audit.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Pantheon or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with general ledger functions.
