Junior Accounting Associate – Corporate Accounting

About the role

TMF Group is looking for a Junior Accounting Associate to join its Subotica hub. You will support a portfolio of Hungarian corporate clients, ensuring that accounting services are delivered accurately, compliantly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Support the administrative operations of the accounting team, adhering to internal procedures.
• Assist in processing payments and billing activities, verifying completeness and correctness.
• Manage bank account operations, monitor balances, prepare and execute payments, and track payment statuses.
• Record incoming invoices and prepare documentation for the approval workflow.
• Process bank transactions, cash‑register entries, invoices and business‑travel expenses according to internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Fluency in Hungarian and English (mandatory).
• At least 1 year of experience in a related accounting role (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Professional manner, strong ethical code and readiness to meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills.
