About the role
Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminium packaging, is looking for a Junior Operator to join its production team. The role focuses on supporting line conversions, machine maintenance and continuous improvement in a safe and efficient environment.
Key responsibilities
- Participate actively in production line conversions, helping to reduce conversion time and eliminate defects.
- Assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of machines and equipment under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
- Operate and adjust machinery, ensuring that production lines run within defined safety, quality, performance and reliability parameters.
- Monitor, analyze and record machine and process parameters to support operational control.
- Support the implementation and upkeep of Lean standards on the shop floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, machines and equipment in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Contribute ideas and take part in continuous improvement projects aimed at business excellence.
