Manual QA Engineer – Global IT Products

About the role

Wargaming is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join its Global IT Products department. You will ensure the quality of internal corporate systems and services, working on web applications, micro‑services and complex integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently implement the full testing cycle for functional testing of web applications, micro‑services and APIs.
• Test products even when requirements are not fully defined.
• Create and maintain test documentation and test cases.
• Accept builds before releases and verify defect fixes.
• Monitor error and failure reports, analyse requirements and evaluate testing work.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large datasets and complex business logic.
• Experience testing web applications and micro‑services.
• Good understanding of client‑server architecture and software development life cycles.
• Proficient in English (upper‑intermediate) and Russian (written and spoken).
• Fast learner, proactive, able to work independently and switch between tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with legacy documentation.

Required skills

• Functional testing of web applications, micro‑services and APIs.
• Test case creation and test documentation.
• Jira, Confluence and TestRail for bug and task tracking.
• SQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server database querying.
• Excel for data calculations and spreadsheet work.
• API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
