About the role

Lidl, an international retailer, is looking for a Marketing Strategist to shape and execute marketing strategies across its markets. You will work closely with internal and external partners to translate market insights into tactical campaigns that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse market trends, consumer needs and opportunities to inform tactical decisions.
• Coordinate international and national marketing campaigns strategically.
• Implement agreed‑upon marketing strategies within Lidl’s operations.
• Monitor market trends across all channels, report findings and propose actions.
• Set quantitative and qualitative KPIs for campaigns and track them using appropriate tools.
• Maintain and update internal strategic tools.
• Communicate the defined strategy to internal and external collaborators and ensure its implementation.
• Prepare strategic and operational presentations, gathering necessary data.
• Collaborate with all marketing departments and conduct various market research.
• Track and control agreed‑upon costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar marketing positions.
• Higher education degree, preferably in Economics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of creating and implementing marketing campaigns.
• Excellent understanding of digital communication channels, consumer segmentation and marketing strategy development.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and social abilities.
