Media Business Development Manager

About the role

DesignRush.com, a leading B2B media platform, is looking for a Media Business Development Manager to drive brand exposure and media package sales. You will leverage an established network of media contacts to generate new business and position DesignRush as the preferred media partner for top brand decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads and close yearly retainers for media and exposure packages.
• Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and ongoing relationship management.
• Set and report on monthly and quarterly sales targets to the executive team.
• Sell contributor columns, PR campaigns, newsletters, podcast features, digital PR, and social media exposure packages.
• Build trusted partnerships with key clients, increasing retention and revenue over time.
• Maintain pipeline activity in the CRM system.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales operations teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in media sales with a well‑established network of industry contacts.
• Proactive, analytical, tech‑savvy mindset with a strong growth orientation.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to help customers and enhance their experience.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and a true team‑player attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliable remote‑work setup (computer and stable internet).
• Availability to work EST hours until 5 pm.
