Medical Director – Oncology (Sponsor‑Dedicated, Home‑Based)

About the role

The Medical Director – Oncology will provide scientific and medical oversight for oncology clinical trials conducted on behalf of sponsor companies. Working remotely, the role acts as the primary medical contact for sponsors, investigators, and site staff, ensuring protocol compliance and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Monitor for oncology studies, answering 24/7 queries on inclusion/exclusion criteria, protocol clarifications, and adverse events.
• Review and contribute to study documents including protocols, informed consent forms, Investigator Drug Brochures, eCRFs, and clinical study reports.
• Participate in protocol development, endpoint definition, and statistical/data‑management planning.
• Provide training to project teams on therapeutic areas and protocol specifics.
• Assist in investigator site selection, recruitment, and retention activities.
• Develop and execute medical monitoring plans and ensure GCP compliance.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with extensive experience in oncology clinical research.
• Proven track record as a Medical Monitor or Medical Director in sponsor‑dedicated settings.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and GCP standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with sponsors, investigators, and cross‑functional teams.
