About the role

MTU Maintenance Serbia is looking for a skilled Repair Mechanic specialized in hand‑tool operations to support engine component processing and maintenance. The role involves preparing, repairing, and post‑processing engine parts according to strict technical instructions while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engine components for repair and execute manual repairs following approved procedures.
• Perform simple thermal treatments and clean engine parts in compliance with regulations.
• Handle chemicals safely, set up equipment, and measure parts using standard measuring tools.
• Run predefined automated processes in dedicated software and document their completion.
• Conduct visual inspections, basic functional tests, and diagnose equipment faults.
• Introduce new tools, repair methods, and maintain KPI targets.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and ready for production.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience working with metal components.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading and understanding).
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in two‑shift rotation and collaborate with a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using SAP.
• Competence in handling hand tools and standard measuring equipment.
