Operative Procurement Specialist (Chinese Language)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Operative Procurement Specialist who can support material availability and stock optimisation while leveraging Chinese language skills to communicate with Asian suppliers. The position is based in Subotica and works closely with planning and commodity teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure material availability for allocated commodities and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Create and place purchase orders in SAP, monitor acknowledgements and resolve non‑conformities.
• Update lead times, define ideal order quantities and apply scale pricing where possible.
• Coordinate forecasts, monitor procurement KPIs and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
• Handle blocked invoices, conduct monthly supplier evaluations and represent operative procurement in project teams.
• Maintain master data in the ERP system and support the rollout of new products and processes.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in operative procurement or a similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency and functional knowledge of Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficient use of SAP (or comparable ERP) for order management and data maintenance.
