Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) – Hilton Belgrade

About the role

The CDP Pastry position is a full‑time, on‑site role at Hilton Belgrade. You will be responsible for preparing, baking and finishing high‑quality pastries, desserts and baked goods for the hotel’s outlets and events, adhering to brand standards and menu specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the pastry section, monitor stock levels and place orders for pastry ingredients.
• Prepare, bake and finish a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquet services.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety standards in line with local regulations and Hilton brand requirements.
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team and support junior pastry staff.
• Assist in developing new pastry items, ensuring creativity in presentation while maintaining consistency and portion control.

Required profile

• Strong pastry and bakery skills with experience in hotel or restaurant bakery operations.
• Demonstrated creativity in pastry design, flavor combinations and dessert presentation.
• Solid understanding of hygiene and food‑safety practices.
• Foundational cooking skills to support coordination with the main kitchen.
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or a similar pastry‑focused hospitality role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Relevant culinary or pastry qualification, apprenticeship or certification (preferred).
