Payments Processing Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Payments Processing Associate to join our fast‑growing fintech team in Serbia. Reporting to the Head of Payments, you will handle daily transaction flows, ensure accurate deposits and withdrawals, and support our network of over 50 Payment Service Providers.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing financial transactions in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Review, validate and execute daily client withdrawals promptly.
• Apply and reconcile client deposits and internal transfers, verifying payment details.
• Monitor and coordinate with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to maintain smooth transaction flow.
• Maintain daily communication with banks and PSPs for funding confirmations and settlements.
• Identify, investigate and resolve failed or suspicious transactions, escalating to compliance when needed.
• Respond to client queries regarding funding issues and provide proof of payments.
• Liaise with customer support, finance and compliance teams to resolve funding‑related questions.
• Track payment system performance, report technical issues and support risk assessments.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in payments processing, finance operations or transaction handling, preferably in fintech, online trading, iGaming or eCommerce.
• Strong understanding of PSP operations, banking procedures and global payment methods.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage large transaction volumes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or payment platforms.
