About the role
The Pharmacovigilance Scientist 2 will lead signal detection and literature surveillance activities for marketed and investigational products, ensuring timely identification and assessment of safety signals. The role involves authoring and finalising aggregate safety reports and acting as the principal owner for assigned molecules.
Key responsibilities
- Act as signal detection and literature lead, conducting ongoing safety surveillance and evaluating events of special interest.
- Author and finalise aggregate reports such as PBRERs, PSURs, DSURs and ACOs, and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Own molecule deliverables, set‑up and update signalling strategies, and oversee end‑to‑end signal management.
- Coordinate with clinical scientists, service‑provider leads and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of molecule work.
- Participate in internal and external audits, adhere to SOPs, and ensure all required training is completed.
Required profile
- Life science graduate or postgraduate (pharmacy, nursing or related) with 4‑6 years of pharmacovigilance experience.
- Hands‑on experience with drug safety, aggregate reporting and signal detection/management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong team‑working abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
