PhD Peer Reviewer – Electrical & Electronic (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Electrical or Electronic engineering to join our remote peer‑review team. This long‑term, part‑time position allows you to contribute to the quality of scholarly publications while working from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for relevance and completeness.
• Analyse results, verify conclusions, and identify any ethical concerns.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related field.
• At least five peer‑review‑ready papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
