Power BI/Power Platform Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI/Power Platform Solution Architect to design, develop, and deliver modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Power products. The role will focus on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance reporting solutions while leading migration from legacy BI tools to Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end BI solutions with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX and Power Platform components.
• Define enterprise‑scale Power BI architectures aligned with data strategy, governance, and security.
• Lead migration projects from tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, BusinessObjects or MicroStrategy to Power BI.
• Assess existing reports, dashboards and data models and create migration road‑maps.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with Snowflake data platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture and business teams to define target‑state solutions.
• Communicate solution options, trade‑offs and risks to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Promote best practices for Power BI development, governance, security and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field; Snowflake certification is a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, warehousing or architecture.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Proven experience migrating BI solutions to Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills with senior architects and business stakeholders.
