Pricing Systems Analyst

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Pricing Systems Analyst to support its pricing tools and financial models. The role involves analyzing customer needs, testing system updates, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external customer requirements, focusing on financial and pricing data in Excel models and online systems.
• Test and validate updates to pricing tool assumptions and algorithms, coordinating changes with the Pricing team.
• Correct errors in pricing tools and adapt models to provide customized solutions for strategic customers.
• Collaborate with IT and third‑party developers to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain user instructions and training materials.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to ensure timely updates of rate cards, FX rates, pass‑through costs, and inflation profiles.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, or equivalent related experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent in a business or health‑related field.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
