Principal HR Project Manager

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal HR Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional HR programs across its global operations. You will drive initiatives from initiation through implementation, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, quality, and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent HR projects, establishing governance, managing dependencies, risks, and reporting.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, synthesize inputs, frame risks, and influence senior leaders to move initiatives from discussion to action.
• Develop executive communications such as status updates, risk summaries, recommendations, and decision frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to standardize processes, enhance project‑management methodologies, tools, and governance practices.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, bringing structure and execution discipline to high‑visibility, ambiguous initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive experience leading complex programs, preferably within HR or corporate functions.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders, navigate ambiguity, and drive decisions.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience working with work councils and enterprise‑wide, cross‑functional initiatives.
• PMP certification preferred; broad understanding of HR functions and operating models.
