About the role
The Production Operator assembles materials and operates machinery on Alphasense’s sensor production lines. This position works under supervision, ensuring products are built to specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Check the production scheduling board each morning and occupy the assigned workstation.
- Adjust machines according to work orders and assemble semi‑finished, sub‑assemblies, and finished products.
- Perform quality control checks after completion and report any deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including work orders, scrap lists, and control plans.
- Conduct daily and weekly machine functionality and cleanliness checks.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff for equipment troubleshooting.
Required profile
- Attention to detail and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical dexterity and coordination for handling tools and materials.
- Flexibility and openness to change.
