Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead an Autonomous Production Team (APT) on the shop floor. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and people development while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Set clear direction for the APT, coach team leads and motivate staff to meet KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost and people.
• Communicate plant strategy and priorities, ensuring every team member understands goals and their role.
• Train and develop team leads and operators on standardized processes and ownership of work areas.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on eliminating the 7 wastes, especially over‑production.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure seamless production execution.
• Identify key performance data and translate it into actionable insights for the team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, departments or processes within production operations.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
