Quality Inspector – Aviation Maintenance

About the role

MTU Maintenance Serbia is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that all maintenance work on aircraft engines and components complies with approved data and client specifications. You will work in a dynamic aviation environment, performing final inspections, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement of quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Verify compliance of work instructions and performed maintenance tasks with approved data.
• Check work performed and documentation against the client’s scope of work.
• Conduct final inspections to confirm component conformity with approved data.
• Document inspection results in the CAQ system and certify completed maintenance tasks.
• Identify and initiate additional maintenance or inspection tasks as needed.
• Participate in defining the scope of work and perform spot checks during the repair process.
• Support product and process audits and initiate corrective and preventive actions for non‑conformities.

Required profile

• High school graduation.
• Minimum three years of experience in an approved aeronautical maintenance organization.
• Experience with engine or component maintenance, repair, inspection, or certification.
• Willingness to work in two shifts.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Measurement techniques.
• Statistics.
• Quality methods.
• Knowledge of EASA Part 147 modules 6, 7, 9 & 10.
• Proficiency with the CAQ inspection documentation system.
