Quality Management System Engineer

About the role

BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group is seeking a Quality Management System Engineer to lead the continuous improvement of its global quality management system. You will work across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with automotive and environmental standards while supporting customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce, develop, and maintain the corporate quality management system and related processes.
• Define and optimise international framework conditions for system description in coordination with global sites.
• Provide support and consulting for sites worldwide on quality system matters.
• Develop solutions for changes in management system requirements and align the system with technical developments and customer expectations.
• Conduct internal and external audits, organise audit planning, and manage corrective actions.
• Deliver training sessions and qualify employees on quality standards.
• Create, review, and present standard processes and quality documents in cooperation with specialist departments.

Required profile

• Experience working in an IATF 16949‑certified organization.
• Proven ability to manage customer, supplier, and internal quality issues.
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive customer‑specific requirements (CSRs).
• Knowledge of automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Experience with problem‑solving methods like 8D, Root Cause Analysis and Five Whys.
• Understanding of risk‑based thinking and continual improvement.
