Regional Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Regional Cloud Engineer to join our Europe IT team in Nis, Serbia. You will design, implement and maintain Johnson Electric’s cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, working closely with DevOps, security and application development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available Azure infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform.
• Automate cloud operations and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and optimise performance, cost and security of Azure resources.
• Support cloud migration and modernisation projects across cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity (Azure AD), storage and compute.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
