Safety Scientist II/III (EMEA)

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Safety Scientist II/III to join its EMEA team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering signal detection and product safety activities across a range of product complexities, while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute signal detection and product safety tasks from low to ultra‑high complexity.
• Conduct quality reviews of safety activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead small FSP‑type projects and support bid defence and proposal development.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Develop and enhance processes, tools, and systems used in safety monitoring.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and multiple internal systems.

Required profile

• Experience in signal detection, product safety, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to work on tasks of varying complexity under supervision when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
• Effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to participate in departmental initiatives and act as a subject‑matter expert.
