Sales Development Representative

About the role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact for prospects interested in CCBill’s merchant services, responsible for qualifying leads and guiding them toward suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads via phone, email, and chat while meeting internal response time SLAs.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover merchant pain points and business objectives.
• Document all activity in Pipedrive, keeping lead status and notes up‑to‑date.
• Perform initial risk and compliance screening against CCBill’s policies and card network standards.
• Hand over qualified opportunities to Account Executives with detailed briefings.
• Collaborate with Marketing to refine lead scoring and assess inbound campaign effectiveness.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in inbound sales development or lead qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct deep discovery calls.
• Self‑starter attitude, disciplined lead‑qualifying mindset, and commitment to continuous learning in payments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
• Basic understanding of merchant services, credit‑card processing, and payment compliance standards.
