About the role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to help launch a new team and embed a robust Agile way of working. The role will involve guiding the team, facilitating collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in delivery and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the Scrum process for distributed teams, ensuring effective Agile ceremonies.
- Organise Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives and other Agile sessions.
- Coach the team on Scrum and Agile principles, fostering continuous improvement.
- Support the Product Owner and Development Team in planning, prioritisation and achieving sprint and release goals.
- Facilitate decision‑making, conflict resolution and collaboration across stakeholders.
- Identify, manage and remove impediments that hinder development.
- Monitor day‑to‑day progress of projects, focusing on scope, timelines, quality and dependencies.
- Ensure alignment with other Scrum teams and organisational Agile guidelines, including SAFe.
- Help build a trusting, transparent environment where issues are raised openly.
- Contribute to the successful ramp‑up of a new Scrum team within a large‑scale Agile environment.
Required profile
- University degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Leader or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience with Scrum in distributed teams.
- Practical knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); experience in large‑scale Agile environments is a plus.
- Strong facilitation, conflict‑resolution and team‑empowerment abilities.
- Excellent planning, analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; fluent spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in the airline industry is advantageous.
