Senior Accountant

About the role

CONEO, an international tax advising, consulting, accounting and auditing firm, is expanding its Belgrade office and seeks a motivated Senior Accountant. The role involves managing full‑cycle accounting, VAT compliance and supporting audit preparation for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing invoices, cost import and export documentation.
• Control and harmonisation of commodity/material with financial accounting.
• Recording all business transactions and maintaining fixed‑asset registers.
• Calculating VAT and submitting VAT applications.
• Preparing official financial statements and assisting with audits.
• Organising outgoing payments and accounting for banking transactions.
• Posting and reconciling general ledger accounts with sub‑ledgers.
• Performing other general accounting duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Well‑organized, punctual and analytical team player.
• Competitive, open‑minded with strong customer orientation and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• AB Soft accounting software.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel.
