Senior Clinical Team Manager – Internal Medicine

About the role

PPD, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Senior Clinical Team Manager (CTM) to lead internal‑medicine therapeutic projects across multiple disease areas. You will own start‑up and clinical deliverables, coordinate regional teams and ensure high‑quality, on‑time trial execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all clinical and start‑up activities for moderate to high‑complexity studies in compliance with ICH GCP.
• Develop and maintain start‑up and monitoring tools such as Essential Document Checklists and Monitoring Plans.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare client presentations, bid defenses and hand‑off meetings.
• Lead country start‑up teams, regulatory submissions and ethics committee interactions.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality metrics, implementing recovery actions when needed.
• Provide training on standardized monitoring processes and ensure proper archiving of study documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and team‑motivation abilities in a multicultural matrix environment.
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid understanding of change‑management principles and financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Word.
