Senior Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to shape a modern, cloud‑native data platform for a large global system. You will drive architectural decisions that have real impact, working on lakehouse design, scalable data processing, analytics and AI enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve the architecture of modern data platforms.
• Define data collection, processing, and usage patterns across multiple systems.
• Build scalable, reliable solutions ready for future growth.
• Establish standards for data quality, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams on critical technical decisions.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of AI and ML platform development.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Proven experience with AWS lakehouse technologies (Spark, Apache Iceberg, Parquet).
• Hands‑on experience with streaming and batch data processing.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts and platform monitoring.
• Experience with data governance practices and managing data platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills for daily interaction with international teams.
