About the role
Semrush is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop new data‑intensive functionality for its Brand Performance and unified SEO/ASO tracking product, improve data quality, and collaborate on research and cross‑team projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new data‑intensive functionality for Brand Performance and the future unified SEO/ASO tracking product.
- Improve data quality issues to ensure product competitiveness.
- Participate in team research, technical events, and cross‑team projects.
- Work closely with backend engineers and product teams to turn research into production‑ready solutions.
Required profile
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with SQL and analytical data.
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM‑based workflows.
- Ability to reason about data quality, metrics, and product impact.
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast‑changing product area.
