Senior Delivery Manager

About the role

Synechron is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead IT consulting projects in Belgrade. You will act as the main client liaison, drive delivery excellence and support the growth of our Serbian operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery teams across large‑scale IT consulting or outsourcing projects.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop realistic delivery plans, monitor progress and adapt to changing requirements.
• Participate in architectural discussions, road‑map planning and adoption of Agile, DevOps and continuous improvement practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks early, resolve issues proactively and ensure seamless project execution.
• Coach teams on delivery excellence, client communication and stakeholder management.
• Contribute reusable assets, frameworks and methods to improve delivery efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale IT consulting or outsourcing projects, preferably in the financial industry.
• Strong client‑facing skills, consulting, negotiation and expectation management.
• Proven problem‑solving ability and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Required skills

• Agile, Scrum, Kanban delivery frameworks.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Modern software architectures: Microservices, Distributed Systems, SOA.
• GenAI technologies (LLM, RAG).
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices.
• Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Data streaming and real‑time processing platforms.
• Experience with AI‑enabled tools for planning, reporting and risk management.
