Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Operational Strategy to lead oncology‑focused award strategies for Ergomed. The role will shape competitive, flexible approaches for early‑phase oncology programs, coordinate bid defenses, and act as the primary oncology strategist for client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop competitive strategies for oncology award opportunities, leveraging operational capabilities and technologies.
• Serve as lead oncology strategist, supporting or guiding other oncology operational strategists as needed.
• Co‑lead bid defence preparations with Business Development and participate in client meetings alongside senior operational staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client decision‑makers to drive repeat business and award success.
• Collaborate with global functions such as Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory and Safety to ensure comprehensive client solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive clinical research experience within a CRO, with strong oncology background.
• Senior‑level experience contributing to project oversight, delivery and customer relationship management.
• Proven track record of developing and strengthening client relationships in oncology strategy.
