Senior eCommerce UI/UX Designer

About the role

You will lead design for live Shopify storefronts serving U.S. and European DTC and B2B brands with annual GMV ranging from $5M to $1B. Your work will ship to production and directly influence conversion, average order value, and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery, research, and design direction for multiple concurrent merchant engagements.
• Present and defend design recommendations to founders, ecommerce directors, and executive teams.
• Partner with developers to ship responsive experiences from desktop to mobile.
• Own end‑to‑end ecommerce design, including homepages, PLPs, PDPs, navigation, search, cart, checkout flows, and B2B account experiences.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries that transition from Figma to Shopify.
• Apply CRO‑driven methodology, using analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and user research to inform design decisions.
• Communicate directly with merchants, ask critical questions, and push back when necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional ecommerce UI/UX design experience.
• Proven track record designing for Shopify and responsive web platforms.
• Comfortable presenting work to senior stakeholders and handling critique.
• Ability to work hybrid/remote on a 13:00–21:00 Sarajevo schedule, with occasional U.S. West Coast calls.

• Compensation of 3,800–5,200 KM net per month (employee) or equivalent contractor rate.
