Senior Financial Audit Associate – EMEA Acceleration Centre

About the role

PwC’s EMEA Acceleration Centre is looking for a Senior Financial Audit Associate to join its multinational audit teams. You will work on complex financial audit engagements for clients across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and other EMEA locations while remaining based in your home country.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with overseas PwC network firms and EMEA AC colleagues on audit engagements.
• Perform financial statement review procedures in line with auditing standards.
• Execute advanced audit procedures on complex areas, including policy reviews, detailed testing and qualitative evaluations.
• Delegate tasks, coach junior staff and review their work.
• Stay current with audit methodology, technology and client requirements.
• Communicate effectively with engagement teams, internal stakeholders and clients, escalating risks and resolving issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial audit.
• Proficiency in business English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical and project‑management abilities.
• Adaptability to a fast‑changing regulatory environment and a willingness to pursue professional qualifications such as ACCA.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
