Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our Finance team and take a hands‑on role in financial planning, performance management, and business analysis. This position is ideal for someone with strong controlling experience who can work independently, identify issues proactively, take ownership, and drive solutions with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, costs, and profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate reasons behind deviations.
• Identify financial and operational issues and proactively drive their resolution.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and management reports.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Partner with management and business units to improve financial performance.
• Support cost control and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Improve controlling processes, reporting, and financial procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Financial Analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive, ownership mindset.
• Fluent in Serbian and English.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
