Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a multinational manufacturing organisation. The role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on operational HR support across multiple plant sites, driving people initiatives that enable growth, engagement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with plant directors and operational managers on business planning and people‑related decisions.
• Design and implement HR initiatives aligned with manufacturing objectives, including workforce capacity, shift organization and performance improvement.
• Analyse HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism and engagement, and propose corrective actions.
• Lead high‑volume recruitment and develop onboarding programmes for shift‑based roles.
• Manage relationships with temporary‑staffing agencies and external workforce arrangements.
• Oversee performance management, talent development and succession planning for key operational positions.
• Support managers in disciplinary procedures, employee‑relations matters and ensure compliance with labour legislation and collective agreements.
• Plan and execute employee‑engagement surveys, wellbeing initiatives and workplace improvement programmes.
• Utilise and enhance HRIS systems, prepare regular HR reports and contribute to the digitalisation of HR processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 4 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with shift‑based operations.
• Experience managing large employee populations (500+ employees) and high‑volume recruitment.
