Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a multinational manufacturing leader. The role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on HR operations, supporting plant directors and operational managers to drive people initiatives, improve performance and foster employee engagement across shift‑based sites.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, organisational changes and performance improvement.
• Lead high‑volume recruitment and design onboarding programmes for seasonal and project‑driven hiring.
• Implement performance management processes, identify development needs and support succession planning for key operational roles.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with labour legislation and collective agreements.
• Plan and analyse employee engagement surveys, develop wellbeing initiatives and promote a positive organisational culture.
• Utilise and enhance HRIS tools, produce regular HR reports and contribute to the digitalisation of HR processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, at least 4 years in a Business Partner or HR Manager capacity.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with shift‑based operations and large employee populations (500+).
• Demonstrated expertise in high‑volume recruitment, talent development and employee engagement.
• Strong knowledge of labour legislation, collective agreements and HR compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analysis.
