Senior Technical Support Consultant – ERP & Oracle

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Consultant to resolve escalated ERP issues for our financial services clients. You will troubleshoot complex problems, optimise system performance, and collaborate with development and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues related to the ERP system, minimizing business impact.
• Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex problems, working with Level 1 support and development teams.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimisation strategies.
• Maintain and administer Oracle databases, including backup, recovery, and data integrity.
• Manage the RedHat Linux environment, applying updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA to address critical issues and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in testing and deployment of ERP updates, enhancements, and patches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong experience with Java applications and relational databases.
• Proven Level 2/3 support experience for enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
